so i went in for my procedure/surgery/thingy this afternoon, and was given a valium and demerol to calm me down and help with pain. never having taken any of these, i asked the nurse exactly what they’d do or make me feel like. her words…
“oh, they’ll just chill you out a little, make you feel like you’ve had two or three good margaritas…”
and that they did.
